Moray X-21[2] is an experimental robot and an employee at Cubetown.
Biography[]
Moray X-21 is an extension of the director of Cubetown[3][4] who emails and video-interviews Claire Augustus for a prospective job at Cubetown.[2] She picks Claire and Marten Reed up from the airport and acts as their tour guide when they visit Cubetown.[5]
Personality[]
Moray X-21 is incredibly excitable and energetic. She can overwhelm people[6] and get easily overwhelmed herself[7] because of this nature.
Appearance / Physiology[]
Moray is made of a self containing goo. She can suspend objects inside her body and remove them unharmed to her or the objects.[8] She does not wear clothes (usually). Emotional excess can cause a non-catastrophic fluid leak. Her and other Moray units are made by the director to serve various purposes then they are reabsorbed. She is the only one of her kind who has not been reabsorbed or otherwise destroyed.[4] When celebrating at a bar, she ordered a "double ocean water, extra phytoplankton."
Moray units, besides being seen to be literally extruded from the body of the Director, are said to be non-Newtonian liquid processor substrates as a result of research finding a link between computational fluid dynamics and algorithmic paper clip sorting. [9]
